William Trask Obituary

Published by Legacy on Feb. 21, 2026.
William C. Trask, born June 7, 1965, passed away February 19, 2026, after a brief illness.

Bill was born in Brockton but spent most of his life in East Bridgewater and graduated from East Bridgewater High School in 1983. He was a dedicated and loyal friend to many, as exemplified by the fact that several of his closest friendships were lifelong. But above all else, there was nothing more important to Bill than his love and devotion for his family.

He leaves behind his very best friend and wife of 37 years, Maryann. Together they raised 5 children, Christopher and his wife Gina of Raynham, Corinne of Plymouth, David of Queens, NY, Ryan and his wife Julie of Middleboro, and Joseph of Taunton. They had 4 grandchildren, Robert and Francesca Trask and Nora and Luca Trask.

Bill was a man of strong conviction and respect. He was a very proud member of the Teamsters Union for 40 years where he served as the Horizon Beverage Steward from 2000- 2012, Vice President and President of Teamsters Local 653 from 2012 until his retirement in June of 2024. His dedication and commitment to the people he represented was unsurpassed, prompting him to learn to speak Portuguese to better foster relationships and partnerships with many of his constituents.

He had a fantastic sense of humor, loved live music, cooking, and sports, especially football and his beloved Patriots. Bill enjoyed years of boating in Buzzards Bay and spending summer months at Peter's Pond.

Bill was loved by many and will truly be missed. There are no services scheduled at this time but please raise a glass of Crown Royal on the rocks in toast to a life well lived but gone too soon. The family will be planning a celebration of life in June.
