William "Bill" Triplett

William "Bill" Triplett, 90, of South Point, OH, passed away Friday, February 10, 2023, at River Run Healthcare of Franklin Furnace. Bill was born June 19, 1932, in Ashland, KY, a son of the late Robert and Victoria Stewart Triplett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Louann Triplett; two brothers, Robert Triplett and John Triplett; and one sister, Mary Dennison. Bill was a Veteran of the United States Navy, having served in the Korean War, and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 6878. He was a Barber, worked as a Clerk for Lawrence County Engineer, and was a member of South Fork Regular Baptist Church in Worthington, KY.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Sharon (Steve) Dolin of South Point, OH; his son, William J. (Laura) Triplett of South Point, OH; one sister, Elizabeth Childers of South Point, OH; two brothers, Charles Triplett of VA, and Lonnie (Sue) Triplett of Coal Grove, OH; three grandchildren, Jami Bennington, Tiffany Triplett, and Brittany Fraser; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at, South Point, OH, with Pastor and grandson-in-law Brad Bennington officiating.
