James H. Triplett, 84, a retired automobile hauler for Ford Motor, died Friday, February 6, 2026, at his home.
Visitation is 9:00 am until 11:00 am Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, at Wilcox Funeral Home. Services are 11:00 am Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, in the Wilcox Chapel with Bro. Keith Smith, Bro. Mike Skinner, Bro. Stephen Evans, and Bro. Jason Price officiating. Interment will be in Reformation Cemetery.
Mr. Triplett, a native of Leake County, was a member of Midway Baptist Church and former long-time Shriner
Preceding him in death were his first wife, Murrill Triplett, father, Jim Triplett, mother, Nellie Triplett, and brother. Elmer Triplett.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Triplett of Carthage; 2 sons, James Quint Triplett (Amelia) and William Heath Triplett, both of Carthage; a stepson, David Kelley of Carthage; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Ben Wilbanks, Dale Jenkins, Perry Stribling, David Herrington, Steve Nazary, and Bill Bannister.
Memorial gifts may be made in his honor to St. Jude’s or The Shinners.
