Judy Wilkinson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wilcox Funeral Home - Carthage on Feb. 11, 2026.
Judy Kay Wilkinson

Carthage, MS

Born on November 23, 1948, Judy was a lifelong source of love and strength to her family. She was never married and had no children of her own, but she was a devoted and cherished aunt whose presence meant so much to her nieces and nephews. Her kindness, steady spirit, and love for her family will be remembered always.

She was preceded in death by her parents, R.W. and Dorthy Wilkinson; her sister, Cathy Wilkinson; her brother, Tim Wilkinson; her brother-in-law, Joe Kemp; her sister-in-law, Ann Wilkinson; her nephew, Matthew Kemp; and her nieces, Kasey Wilkinson and Shannon Ramsey.

Judy is survived by her sisters, Becky Kemp and Robin (Johnny) Carter; her brothers, David (Ruth) Wilkinson and Ricky (Lana) Wilkinson. She also leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews: Mark Kemp, Bryant Windham, Shayne (Trissi) Wilkinson, Kristopher Wilkinson, Dustin Windham, Stacy (Ben) Swinney, Karri Wilkinson, Kristy (Carlous) Smith, and Magen (Isaac) Schaefer, as well as multiple great-nieces and great-nephews whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends who will miss her deeply.

Though her time with us feels too short, the love she shared will remain in our hearts forever.

Services will be held Saturday, February 14, 2026 with visitation 11:00pm-1:00pm and service at 1:00pm all at Wilcox Funeral Home with Bro. Shayne Wilkinson and Carlous Smith officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Church Cemetery in Edinburg.

Pallbearers are Mark Kemp, Lane Wilkinson, Kristopher Wilkinson, Justin Wilkinson, Dustin Windham, and Marvin Ladner.
