William Robert Tulloss, known affectionately as Bill, passed away peacefully at home on September 19, 2024, just a day after celebrating his 96th birthday. Born on September 18, 1928, in Nashville, Tennessee, Bill lived a life marked by dedication, achievement, and a passion for his interests.
Bill's professional journey began after he graduated from Tennessee Preparatory School in 1948. He started his career with the Nashville Banner, where he worked diligently from 1948 to 1957. Bill transitioned to Ford Motor Company, committed to excellence for thirty-two years before his retirement.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Bill was an avid golfer, often found enjoying the sport that brought him joy and friendship over the years. He also had a skill for capturing moments through photography. A devoted fan of Vanderbilt University, Bill took pride in supporting the institution and its athletic teams.
Bill was also known for his high school accomplishment by earning the title of Gloden Glove boxer. An achievement that inspired determination and perseverance throughout his life.
