William Franklin “W.F.” Tuttle, 85, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at his home.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Tanner and Rev. John Marks officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will see friends on Tuesday evening from 5:00 til 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Other times the family will be at the home.
W.F. was born in Rockingham County to the late John Ellis Tuttle and Alma Tate Tuttle and was employed with Container Corporation of America for 46 years. He was a member of Grace Fellowship of South Park and the Men’s fellowship. He enjoyed feeding the birds and watching the grandchildren and great grandchildren playing in the pool. He loved his family and was always a joy to be around. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, John Ellis Tuttle, Melvin Tuttle and Roger Tuttle; sisters, Alma Sparks, Sarah Walker and Claudine Page; grandsons, Brandon and Clint Tuttle and great granddaughter Alexis Tuttle.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years Esther Tuttle; son Tommy Tuttle and wife Judy; grandchildren Adam Tuttle and wife Brooke and Dustin Tuttle; great grandchildren Triston Tuttle and wife Britany, Jaden Tuttle, Macey Tuttle, Noah Tuttle, Kadince Tuttle, Able Tuttle and Skylar Tuttle; great great grandchildren Ava, Aubrey, Emma and Braden; brothers Gaynard Tuttle and wife, Debbie and Pete Tuttle and wife Vivian and his very special fur baby Lexi.
