On September 3, 1966, in Gideon, he was united in marriage to Alice Fay Carter. She preceded him in death on April 4, 2016.
Mr. Vanderbilt died Sunday, June 25, 2023, in Paragould, Ar, at the age of 77 years.
Survivors include 1 son, William Vanderbilt IV and wife, Jamie of Jonesboro, AR; 1 daughter, Paula Oliver and husband, John of Kennett, MO; 1 sister, Sharon Uthoff of Eveningshade, AR; 1 brother, Mike Vanderbilt of O'Fallon, MO; 6 grandchildren, Cassandra, Lacey, Gage, Sidney, Huner and Taylor; 10 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, June 30, 2023, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 A.M., in the chapel, with Reverend William Vanderbilt IV officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden, MO.
