Bill was a long-time resident of Chicago and a Math teacher at Hyde Park Career Academy for over 30 years, until his retirement in 2005. Bill was an avid sports lover, and a faithful Chicago Cubs fan. He was a passionate collector of A/V recordings and preserver of favorite television shows.
Beloved husband of 28 years to the late Valeria McAllister; Cherished father of Rachel (Chris Neill) Wagner; Loving brother of JoAnn (Jim) Schindler and Sharon (Gary) Flanagan; and further loved and dearly missed by his nieces and nephews and extended family members and friends.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Pedersen Ryberg Funeral Home, 435 North York Street, Elmhurst. Family and friends will be invited to share words of remembrance beginning at 12:30 p.m. All are encouraged to celebrate Bill by wearing their best Cubbie blue.
