William L. "Bill Dog" Waits 60 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 4, 2022 at his residence.
He enjoyed turtle filling, hunting any type of animal you can think of, collecting arrow heads and plying with his grandkids. He was He was a true Hillbilly, rom washing clothes in the creek at times to starting his sun tan in January.
William enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and teaching them how to fish, hunt and everything you could think of. One of his grandkids nick names is Billy, Jr. (Nina) and also picking on his daughter's husband, Dakota.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Christina; children Sarah Domaska, Natasha (Dakota) Cruz, Josh Jordan and Ryan Jordan; grandchildren Nina, Jayden, Lexi, Amanda, Ryan Jr., Kian, Duane, Aleigh, Dylan, and Savanah; sisters Jennifer Temple, Tessie (Kenneth Musk and Cindy Waits; brothers Michael (Robin) Waits, Tommy "Monkey" Waits and Marvin Waits; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law John and Dorothy Bullock, Bessie McDill, Jeri and Tracey Zeller, Gerald and Joe Bullock and Richard and Karen Vess; several nieces and nephews; close cousin Johnny Waits, close friends Larry and Diane Sheets and his canine companion Boomer.
William was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Nancy Waits and a n infant sister, Rose Mary Waits.
Caring Cremation® has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. A Memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Chaplain Kermit Welty officiating. Friends may visit 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
