Lindsey Meadows Obituary

Visit the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home and Crematory - Lancaster website to view the full obituary.

With profound grief and sadness, the family of Lindsey Star (Norris) Meadows wishes to announce her passing on February 26, 2026. It cannot be expressed the amount of bravery and courage that Lindsey exhibited through numerous surgeries beginning on January 3. She was our hero and will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and anyone whose life that she touched.

Lindsey was born May 15, 1982, in Lancaster, Ohio, to Debbie Clifford and Kelly Norris. She lived over half of her life in Sugar Grove, Ohio, where she and her husband, Jeff, raised two beautiful children, Dylan and Avery Meadows.

Lindsey had a love for art, bird watching, nature, thrifting, and always wanting to learn something new. She was a devoted band mom, and loved volunteering for the Berne Union band.

After spending many years working in retail, Lindsey completed her Associate’s Degree in accounting which led to her position with the Ohio Department of Taxation. Lindsey was an employee at the Department of Taxation for 15 years, having worked in many of the departments, including recording training videos for customers.

Lindsey is survived by her husband, Jeff Meadows, two children, Dylan Meadows, and Avery Meadows, mother and stepfather, Debbie and Michael Clifford, father and stepmother, Kelly and Rhonda Norris, brothers, Nicholas (Ashley) Norris, and Joshua (fiancé Stephanie) Norris, sister, Andrea (John) Williams, mother-in-law, Joyce Meadows, sister-in-law, Amy (Chris Evans) Stump, five nephews, Liam and Levi Williams, Griffin Norris, Carson and Jayce Evans, and one niece, Quinn Norris, grandmother Bonnie Reed, step-grandma Peg Clifford and step-grandparents Mike and Carla Clifford, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Lindsey was also so fortunate to have devoted childhood friends, Angela Nimon and Jessica Thompson, taking care of anything that she wanted or needed until the very end.

Finally, the family would like to thank Sara Bourgeois, a woman who brought Lindsey so much joy and happiness throughout the last few years of her life. Sara was a constant at her bedside, and we are so grateful for having met Sara. She will always be a part of this family.

The family would like to thank the staff at FMC for exceptional and compassionate care, which provided the family two additional months with Lindsey.

The family would also like to thank the staff of Fairhope Hospice at the Pickering House for the exceptional care shown to Lindsey and her family. They could not have been any kinder to her.

Caring Cremation® has taken place through Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, Lancaster, Ohio.
