William Crawford Wall, age 90, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, in Durango, Colorado. He was born in Commerce, Georgia, on July 17, 1935, to Crawford Lorenza Wall and Omie Lucille Smallwood Wall.
He spent his early childhood in Georgia, New Mexico and Arizona. Some of his favorite memories were on the Gila River and Sapillo. He moved to Pagosa Springs, Colorado when he was 15 years old. He graduated from Pagosa Springs High School in 1954.
He married the love of his life, Arizona Reynolds, on June 27, 1959, in Gainesville, Georgia. William and Arizona had three children; Mary Ann, Martha Jane and Calvin Cobb. They raised their children in Pagosa Springs, Colorado where he owned a construction company until his retirement.
He learned to work hard at a young age while working alongside his father on many construction projects, including building multiple bridges in Southwest Colorado.
He had a great love for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and exploring in the mountains. He was an avid photographer in his younger years capturing the natural beauty of the Colorado Rocky Mountains while sightseeing.
He had a kind heart and was always willing to help anyone in need.
He is preceded in death by his parent’s, Crawford Lorenza Wall and Omie Lucille Smallwood Wall; and his wife of 62 years, Arizona Reynolds Wall.
He is survived by his daughters, Mary Ann Olsen (Troy); Martha Romero (Ruben); and son Calvin Wall; grandchildren, Jesse Romero; Celeste Miller (Jon); Danielle Olsen; Brandon, Casey and Brittany Thames; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at Pine River Cemetery on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.
