William Walsh Obituary
Also known as "Dapper", Bill was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late William and Mary (nee Smith.) He served proudly in the U.S. Army, enjoyed a career working for Sunshine Biscuit, and was a referee in the ABA.
Bill was an active member of the Elks in North Wildwood, coached football at Cardinal Dougherty High School in Philadelphia, loved the Jersey Shore and spending time with his grandchildren.
Bill is survived by his wife of 40yrs, Marie (nee Sherel), son, Bill, step-children, Danny (Joan) Kane, Dawn Johncola, Kevin (Karin) Kane, the late Shawn Kane, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Bill will be held on Friday, November 21st from 9:30am to 11:00am, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00am, all at Sacred Heart Church, 4th & Linden Ave., Riverton, NJ 08077. Interment will be held privately.
