William Franklin "Willie" Walters

William "Willie" Franklin Walters, of Blackey, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023, at his residence. Willie was the son of the late McKinley and Tiney Pitts Walters. He was born August 25, 1951 being 72 years, 3 months, and 28 days of age at the time of his passing. Surviving is 3 daughters: Ruthie McKee of Blackey, Melissa (Ralph) McCoy of Walton, Kentucky, and Toni (Greg) Maggard of Whitesburg; 3 brothers: Russell Walters, Ralph Walters, Charlie Wayne Walters; 6 grandchildren: William Cox, Randy Cox, Deanna Martin, Kayla Combs, Raven Caudill, and Ethan McKee; 10 great grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Willie was preceded in death by a host of brothers and sisters. Funeral 1:00 O'clock P.M. Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Charlie Wayne Walters and Bruce Gilley officiating. Visitation 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Walters Family Cemetery at Blackey, Kentucky.
