William Walters Obituary

Born in St. Louis, Missouri to Arthur J. and Jessalyn D. (Cairns) Walters, he was the third of their four children. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his older sister. Survivors include an older brother, a twin brother, and two grown sons, of whom he was justly very proud.
William's working life spanned a wide variety of interests, from having his own real estate firm to working to develop economic opportunity under the United Nations' banner in Eastern Europe as Communism crumbled, to serving as a U.S. Coast Guard licensed vessel captain. He was particularly adept at caring for animals, both large and small.
Condolences to the family can be sent through Brinsfield Funeral Home, which is handling arrangements. Services will be private.
