William “Bill” Watkins, 91, of Upper Mt. Bethel Township, passed away, Thursday,October 16, 2025, at his home. He was the husband of Emma Anna (Woolverton)Watkins. Born in Asbury, NJ, June 24, 1934, he was the son of the late Lewis Watkinsand Margaret Ellen Baylor. Affectionately nicknamed by his grandchildren as “Poppy”.He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his loved ones and cooking outdoors. He waswell-loved and was known for his sense of humor, love of family and animals. Thestories he told, jokes and diner breakfasts shared and overall comfort will be greatlymissed.He was employed as an owner/operator truck driver and was a member of theTeamsters.William honorably served his country during the Korean War, stationed in Panama.In addition to his wife Emma, he is survived by three daughters, Deanna Watkins,Suzette Watkins, and Wendy Watkins, a son William Watkins, 10 grandchildren and sixgreat grandchildren.He was preceded in death by a daughter, Denise Watkins Hamilton, a brother, RalphWatkins and a step brother, Raymond Butterwick.Funeral services will be private with burial in East Bangor Cemetery.
