Sharon Brandt, mom is Diana

I´m sad to be here. Musette and my mom were friends since childhood. I grew up with visits from the family. When I had my own family, the four of us plus mom went to VA Beach for a short vacation and enjoyed a meal with Bill and Musette. They were a "power" couple in my view; full of energy and getting things done! After Musette´s passing, Bill stayed in touch with my mom who suffers from dementia. I wanted to tell Bill that mom calls me Musette daily. I can´t tell him now. Maybe he knows.

Mike Simcich. I reported to Fort Snelling LSD-30 in November `74. My first memory was of meeting everyone in the Wardroom a great bunch of guys. The Fort was in Baltimore, Maryland at Maryland Ship building and Drydock it was a short time before Ron relieved Bill as 1st Lt. Bill´s office was close by to mine in Supply& Disbursing. Bill is with us in our memories. My condolences to his family and friends. Mike Simcich.

As a fellow NESEP officer and engineer, I served with Bill on the USS Fort Snelling and witnessed firsthand his engineering talents. Bill was a great friend always willing to help with a smile. America has lost a great patriot and gentleman. Condolences to Bill's family.

I was stationed with Bill on the USS FORT SNELLING and relieved him as First Lieutenant. He was a great guy. Him and his wife had us to dinner several times. Sorry for his loss. May the family always finds comfort in the wonderful memories of the time they had together.
