William B. Weimer, 64, of Moweaqua, died September 15, 2025 in Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua. A visitation will be from 10:00 – 12:00, prior to service time. Burial, with full military honors, will be at Westside Cemetery, Moweaqua.

William was born on May 15, 1961 in Dixon, IL, the son of William and Lila (Broux) Pekovitch. He married Sally M. Jones on April 24, 1981 in Decatur, IL. She survives.

William was a dedicated member of Fame Evangelical Church, where he faithfully served as an Elder. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. William was a passionate bowler who was honored as a member of the Decatur Bowling Hall of Fame as well as a devoted fan of the Chicago Cubs.

Surviving are his wife, Sally; daughter, Amanda (Aaron) Fallin of Sullivan, IL; grandchildren: Madison Weimer, Logan Hill, and Zachary Hill.

Preceding him in death are his parents; son, Wiliam Paul Weimer; and brother, Tim Weimer.

Bill and I worked side-by-side at ADM for 23 years. A better colleague didn't exist. A good friend, another die-hard Cub fan, and a man who loved his family. I'm so sorry for your loss, Sally and Mandi. I know he is missed.
