William E. Wheeler, age 93 of Anderson Twp., passed away December 21, 2025. He was the devoted husband of Bettie Wheeler (nee Bragg) for 74 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Lillian Wheeler of Huntington, WV. and daughter Karen Wheeler. He was a beloved father to Cathy (Wayne) Clark, Joe (Beth) Wheeler and David (Mary Beth) Wheeler. A proud grandfather to Brad, Brian, Brittany (Danny), Laura Paul), Andrew (Erica), and Michael (Taryn) and caring great-grandfather of Haley, Kylie, Nina, Hudson, Ben, Amelia, Abigail, and Madeline.
William proudly served in the United States Air Force for 4 years at Parks Air Force Base, California. After serving in the military he attended and graduated from Marshall University in Huntington with a degree in Business Administration.
Bill had a 30 year career working for IBM. He enjoyed time with family, vacations, State Parks, golf, swimming at the YMCA and was a Scout Master for Troop 281 in Anderson Township
A private service will be held for the family with interment at Woodmere Memorial Park in Huntington, WV. Memorials may be made to either Hospice of Cincinnati or Honor Flight Tri-State .
