Mr. William "Billy" Buford White, Jr.

Mr. William “Billy� Buford White, Jr., passed away August 2, 2011 at his residence in Vicksburg, MS. Mr. White will be remembered as a wonderful husband, caring father, loving grandfather and great grandfather and a friend to all. He loved NASCAR, hunting, fishing, gardening and his rose bushes. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 4, 2011 from 10 - 12 at Lakewood Funeral Home in Jackson. A chapel service will follow at noon at Lakewood Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park. Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents, William Buford White, Sr. and Areth Taylor White; his daughter, Lynn Frazier; and his brothers, Freddy White and Melvin White. He is survived by his wife, Jean White; his daughter, Susan Lewis; his sons, Kenneth Downs, John Downs, Billy White, and Robby Varnes; his brothers, Elton White and Perrin White; his sister Ruby Russell; as well as 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
