William B. Whitecraft, Jr., a man who found joy in both hard work and heartfelt melodies, passed away on August 8, 2025. He was 82.

Born and raised in Yardley, PA, William started his career as a farmer before dedicating 22 years to Stauffer Chemical. He then transitioned to work as an electrician at Kubiak Electric in Robbinsville, NJ for another 22 years. He resided in Fairless Hills for fifty years before retiring to his dream home nestled in the mountains of Mansfield, PA.

Music was a lifelong passion for Bill. He was a talented guitarist and, early in his career, was a singer in the band "Tom Smith and the Wanted Men". He cherished his time camping at Lake George, NY, enjoying the thrill of NASCAR races, line dancing, and hunting with family and friends.

Bill lovingly named his mountain home "The Alsthersa", a beautiful tribute to his wife, Alice, his daughters, Lisa and Shelly, and his cherished mother, Theresa. He was a devoted animal lover and treasured the time he spent with his pets.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Alice, his two daughters, Lisa (George) Anderson and Dr. Michele Whitecraft, and his grandsons, Leigh (Katie) Metzler and Colt Metzler. He is also survived by his great-grandson, Liam, and his siblings, Jeanie (Claire) and Ronald (Rose). He is predeceased by his father, William Sr., his mother, Theresa, and his sister, Diana (Ron) Hoch.

Bill will be remembered for his unwavering work ethic, his passion for life's simple pleasures, and his devotion to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, music, and a life well-lived.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 11:00am at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home 17 S. Delaware Avenue Yardley, PA 19067. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and again on Tuesday morning from 10:00am to 11:00am, all at the funeral home.
