William Earl Whitlow

William Earl Whitlow, age 65 of Gallatin, entered in eternal rest on Saturday August 5, 2023 surrounded by his family and friends. Sharing memories, singing, praying to our heavenly father, and thanking him for a blessed life. Graveside Service will be Wednesday, August 9th at 2:00 p.m. at Sumner Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 9th from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Whitlow was born October 19, 1957 in Barren County, Kentucky to the late William Orbie Whitlow and Lula Bell Staples Whitlow. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by son, William Chad Whitlow; and brothers Donnie Whitlow and Mike Whitlow. He is survived by wife of 35 years, Sharon Furlong Whitlow of Gallatin; daughter, Sarah Marie Ridings (Blane) of Gallatin; brothers, David Whitlow, of Virginia and Jimmy Whitlow of Glasgow, Kentucky; sisters, Doris Moore (Larry) of Glasgow, KY, Diana Spillman (David) of Glasgow, KY, Beverly Nelson of Glasgow, KY and Lisa Neal (Cotton) of Glasgow, KY; and grandchildren William Riley Ridings and Bo Ridings; Bill was very close with his in-laws and over 35 nieces and nephews, all who adored their Uncle Bill; Mr. Whitlow worked in Heating, Air, and Electric and in auto sales.
