William Ronald "Ron" Wiggins

William Ronald (Ron) Wiggins, age 84, passed away on December 4th, 2025, peacefully at his home, with his family at his side, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Ron was born on September 1, 1941, to William (Bill) and Hazel Wiggins.

Ron was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting and watching nature unfold. He grew up in Monroeville, Alabama, where he had a wonderful childhood and would later write and publish a book about his childhood memories, based on a special canine, named "Bozo."

Ron loved to travel but most of all he was a beloved husband, father, and friend, and he loved his father, "God."

Preceded in death by his mother and father, William (Bill) and Hazel Wiggins, and his stepdaughter, Kristy O'Neal Pauli.

Survived by his wife Mary Ann (Passman) Wiggins, daughter Nicole Wiggins Hardy, son William Ronald (Ronnie) Wiggins II, stepdaughter Kelly O'Neal Creel, and stepson Daniel O'Neal. Grandchildren Cody Coker, Cassidy Coker, Cayden Coker, Briana Lea Wiggins, William Ronald Wiggins III, Alexis Nichole Wiggins, Marlee McCool-Pauli Kee, Mark Jacob Creel, Alex Pauli, Mary (Jaclyn) Creel, Lucy Pauli, Lexie Thomas, and Mary Carter Gambles. He is, also, survived by his sister Diane (Wiggins) Chandler.

A very special Thanksgiving Dinner was held and Ron was able to celebrate it with his family all gathered around his "Hospice" bed.
