William "Bill" Christopher Wildschuetz, 88, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at his home in Bates City, MO. Services will be held on Tuesday, March 11th at Royer Funeral Home in Oak Grove, MO, with visitation at 9:30 a.m. and the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO.
Bill was born May 3, 1936, in Jackson County, MO, the son of Harry H. and Livona E. (Harris) Wildschuetz. He served his country in the U.S. Army for 4 years and enjoyed being stationed in Germany. Bill was a Union heavy equipment operator. He loved farming, horses, cows, and "Ross" the donkey, and wasn't known to miss many auctions. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed sitting under the tree with friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joan Fisher; and three brothers-in-law: Max Wulfekammer, Marvin Fisher, and Freddie McKinzie.
His survivors include his wife, Barbara Wildschuetz of the home; four sons: Michael Wildschuetz (Danese) of Odessa, MO, Chris Wildschuetz of Mayview, MO, Mark Wildschuetz (Nichole) of Higginsville, MO, and Brian Wildschuetz (Julie) of Odessa, MO; nine grandchildren: Raechel, Matthew, Ashton, William, Orry, Olivia, Logan, Danielle, and Alyssa; three great-grandchildren: Chandler, Brycen, and Axel; two sisters: Wanda Wulfekammer and Vertie McKinzie; and many nieces and nephews.
