It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of William Wilson, who departed from this life on August 18, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on September 13, 1946, in Dayton, Ohio, William was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, embodying the true essence of loyalty and honesty throughout his life. You are invited to join us in celebrating William's life at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 21, 2025, followed by a celebration of his life at 1:00 PM in the Chapel. This service will include full military honors, a fitting tribute to a man who gave so much of himself to others, officiated by Pastor Tommy Odum. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, honoring William's service to his country and his unwavering support for those who have defended our freedom.

William was preceded in death by his beloved parents, William Wilson and Jean Brown Wilson, and his sister, Jeannie Spahr. He leaves behind his cherished wife of 50 years, Donna Wilson, who was not only his partner but also his greatest support.
