William Dudley (Bill) Wilson went to his heavenly home on November 1, 2025. He was 67 years of age. Bill was born in Galena Park, Texas on December 2, 1957, to parents William "Bill" Robert Wilson and Aubra' "Peggy" Levoy Wilson. He was a lifelong resident of the Houston area, primarily the Galena Park and North Shore communities, in east Harris County, Texas. Bill graduated from North Shore High School in 1976 and married his North Shore High School sweetheart, Janice Wilson. Together, they were dedicated parents to their five sons: Jason, Randall, Bradley, Austin and Tyler; and eight grandchildren.

A caring husband, devoted father and beloved Papaw, Bill was happiest surrounded by his wife, family and countless animals on his homestead. He spent countless hours, and over many years, coaching his boys to play baseball for North Shore Little League and beyond. Bill never missed a game and pushed each of his sons to always give 100 percent on and off of the field.

He loved spending time with his grandchildren, teaching them how to fish, throw a baseball and taking family vacations together. Bill and his wife, Janice, equally enjoyed spoiling their grandchildren with special gifts for each occasion and hosting family pool parties. Their proudest moments were having family all together.

After high school Bill worked small jobs and graduated from an underwater welding school. Soon after a short stint in the steel industry he joined his wife, Janice, who loved children and caregiving, into becoming owners of two thriving daycare centers for over a span of 40 years. Together, they cared for over two generations of children over their lifetime. Bill was Papaw to many, and was always willing to lend a hand, provide advice or listen to all who crossed his path.

Bill, together with his wife Janice served as members of The River Church and friend to Pastor Rob Morris for over thirty years. After his family, Bill's next loves were his animals, baseball and fishing. When Janice and Dudley moved to Highlands, Texas on four acres, this provided the perfect opportunity to have plenty of animals they both dreamed about. The animals consisted of horses, several miniature horses, a donkey, chickens, fish, tortoises, and many dogs and cats. One of his favorite things to do was to cook for and share full meals with Chewy and Rosie, his beloved Pomeranians.

Bill spent his childhood growing up in Galena Park and North Shore. His grandparents took him and his two sisters on countless weekend getaways to Magnolia Gardens Park in Sheldon, Texas which made for great adventures and a lifetime of memories.

Bill loved warm climates, fishing, and his happy place – Cozumel, Mexico. Bill and his family vacationed there for many years, creating wonderful memories and making friends. This is where he and Janice were truly at peace and had hoped to become permanent residents one day, as locals enjoying the beautiful beaches and island cuisine.

Bill is survived by sons: Jason Wilson (wife: Amanda); Randall Wilson (wife: Louise); Bradley Wilson (wife: Edna); Austin Wilson (wife: Ely); and Tyler Wilson (wife: Melissa); and grandchildren: Giselle Resendez, Pierce Wilson, Kinley Wilson, Carra Wilson, Sofia Wilson, Camilla Wilson, Gianna Wilson, Nikolas Wilson; sister: Paula Wilson.

Bill loved his family and his wife, Janice, with all his heart. Together, they raised five strong and amazing sons who will live on to carry their legacy for future generations to come. Bill will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Wilson, his parents, William "Bill" Robert Wilson and Aubra' "Peggy" Levoy Wilson, and grandparents, Francis Mariam and Emma Julia Wilson, Itasca Cody and Erma Bell Cox, and sister Kathy Wilson.
