William Wynn Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Currie's Funeral Home from Nov. 12 to Nov. 25, 2025.
Life Reflections
Mr. William David Wynn was born on May 13, 1963 to Mr. William Edmund "Son" Wynn and Mrs. Hattie L. Wynn. He was the second eldest of six children.
David accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He joined Greater Mount Zion CME Church, where he remained a faithful and devoted member for over 35 years. His love for God and his church family was evident in his commitment and service to the ministry.
A proud graduate of Ripley High School, Class of 1981, David went on to dedicate more than 20 years of service to Tennessee Electric Plating (TEP), where he was respected for his work ethic, loyalty, and good spirit until his health began to fail.
Even as he faced health challenges, David's zest for life never wavered. He remained active doing the things he loved; tending to his yard, caring for his animals, working in his garden, playing pool, dancing, enjoying a good game of spades, hunting, cooking, and cheering on the Ripley High School basketball team. Above all, he treasured time spent with his family and friends and found great joy in helping others in any way he could.
In 1991, David was united in marriage to Mrs. Robbie Garrison Wynn, and to this union, two beautiful daughters were born. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who deeply loved his family.
David was proceeded in death by his father William "Son" Wynn and his sister, Pamela Wynn Green.
David leaves to cherish his precious memories a loving and devoted wife of 34 years, Mrs. Robbie Garrison Wynn of Ripley, TN. Three daughters Dr. DeOndra Wynn Edwards (Trey), Constance Mason, DaNesha Wynn; one son DeAngelo Mason; two grandchildren, Kaio and Jaida.
His mother, Hattie L. Wynn; three brothers, Barry Wynn (Patricia), Marlon Wynn, and Myron Wynn; two sisters, Brenda Wynn Nelson and Kimberly Jackson-Macklin (Dubby); eight sisters in law, eight brothers in law; uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
A special acknowledgment is extended to his beloved Greater Mount Zion CME Church family for their many years of fellowship and support, as well as to his TEP family, Ripley Medical Clinic, and Stern Cardiovascular Clinic of Memphis for their care and kindness.
