William Eugene Youker

Loving father and husband. Bill served his country with distinction in the US Air Force from 1950-1970. As military personnel during the height of the Cold War, he lived in several different countries and met many interesting people.

He lived with an Inuit family for a month while serving in the Canadian Arctic. He had an opportunity to meet several world leaders. He has gone fishing with Senator Barry Goldwater of Arizona, chatted with Premier Fidel Castro of Cuba, and Generalissimo Francisco Franco of Spain. He shook hands with President Haile Selassie of Ethiopia.

After retirement from the military, he became an electronics technician, retiring from Graco Inc. in the 1980s.

He was a talented woodworker and cartoonist, a loving family man, and a very interesting person with a droll sense of humor. He will be missed.

Preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Youker, daughter Lynn Youker, and his beloved dog Herbie.

Survived by daughter Kathleen Youker, niece Patti Youker Roads, nephews Nick Youker and Ken Youker. Friends and other relatives.
