Williard Brooks Obituary
Williard William Brooks, 79, widower of Lois Jenkins Brooks, died Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at his residence in Myrtle Beach, SC. He was born December 6, 1946 in Uriah, AL. A son of the late David and Willie Mae Brougton Brooks.
Celebration of life will be held 2PM Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Green Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Alcolu, SC. Burial will follow in the church yard cemetery.

Brooks, I will miss you. I was hoping to see you at the upcoming Myrtle Beach AFB reunion. You didn't make it to the one two years ago. Now, I regret not finding the time to look you up. I have fond memories of working with you in Myrtle Beach. They were good times. I enjoyed your humor, your example and your spirit. I was looking forward to seeing and talking with you again. I hope to now continue that relationship on the other side of the veil with the help of God. Rest in Peace, Willard.
