Willie "Bill" Edwin Bush

Willie E. Bush (Bill), 85 of Glen Allen, VA passed away on October 14 ,2025. He is preceded in death by his father Thomas Edwin and mother Willie Ann Bush. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Frances D. Bush; his two children, Cathy Askew (Jeff) and Michael Bush (Paula). He is forever cherished and remembered by his four grandchildren Breanna, Nathan, Hailey and Ashley. Also surviving Bill are his brothers James (Ruth), Norman (Carolyn) and sister Joyce; along with his nieces, nephews and many great nieces and nephews. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him.

Bill worked for A.M. Pullen Accounting firm for several years and had his own accounting and tax service for over 40 years. He enjoyed working and helping his clients.

Known as PaPa, he took an active role in the lives of his grandchildren, attending their activities and school functions. In his younger years, Bill enjoyed playing softball and shared his love of sports with his children and grandchildren. He especially enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Visitation will take place at 1 p.m., on Sunday October 26, 2025, at Providence Baptist Church, 5730 Courthouse Road, Heathsville, VA 22473. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Providence Baptist Church with a reception in fellowship hall.
