Mr. Cowans transitioned into eternity Monday, October 13, 2025, at the age of 92.
The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday, October 17, 2025, from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Carter Funeral Home.
The Farewell Life Celebration will be held Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 11:00am from the sanctuary of the Mt. Hillard Baptist Church, Town Creek Community.
The eulogy will be given by Pastor Dexter Foreman.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Hillard Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Staff of Carter Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the End-of-Life Care of the late Mr. Willie H. Cowans.
