Services to honor Faye Fox will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 10 am at First Baptist Church in Provencal with Bro. Waylon Gant officiating. Burial will follow at Provencal Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday, December 5, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Provencal from 5 pm until 10 pm.
Faye Hight Fox, a loving wife, mother, and cherished member of her community passed away on December 3, 2025 in Shreveport Louisiana. She was born on January 16, 1949, to Earnest Hight and Wilma O' Neal Booker.
Faye is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Dale Fox, with whom she resided in Provencal, Louisiana. She leaves behind her children: Norman Burkett of Dallas, Robert (Rod) Lewis and his wife Melissa of Cookeville TN; and Shelia Burkett Blankenship and husband Billy of Pelican, La.
She is also survived by her siblings: Linda Early of Shreveport, La., Judy Anthony and husband Mack of Woodville TX; Robert (Bob) Hight and wife Sherry of Pelican La. and Tom Hight of Florida.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents; Her son Donald (Don) Burkett: her daughter Kristie Anders Cook; and her Sister Joann Hight Fisher.
Honoring her as Pallbearers will be Brad Anthony, Shane Anthony, Michael Welborn, Rodger Welborn, Dakota Burr and Jonah Elkins
She was deeply loved by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of bonus children of adored her.
Faye's warmth, generosity, and unwavering love will be forever remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
