Willie Gladney Obituary
He entered into Eternal Rest on Monday, October 28, 2024 at his home.
Elder. Gladney was a dedicated member of the Refuge Temple Church in Columbia, SC and an active member of the Newberry Mass Choir.
He was a graduate of Gallman High School and a retiree of West Fraser. Elder Gladney was a veteran of the United States Army.
Elder Gladney is survived by his wife, Dorothy Mae Gladney; children, Carlton A. Gladney (Teresa) and Adrienne L. Gladney both of Newberry, SC;
sisters, Elizabeth Lindsey of Thomasville, NC and Betty Sims of Columbia, SC; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one uncle, five sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Fairview Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Newberry Memorial Gardens.
