Willie Albert Jordan was born August 11, 1954 in Randolph County, Georgia to Rethema Sutton and the late Charles Jordan Sr.

He was a graduate of the Randolph County School System. After graduation he joined the United States Army.

He departed this life on August 26, 2025 in Warner Robin, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jadier Jordan; son, Willie Albert Jordan Jr; stepfather, Willie D. Sutton; father, Charles Jordan Sr; brothers Ross Brown, Willie Burks and Roosevelt Brown; sister-in-law Dianne Cobbs (Willie) Gorsuch.

Willie was joined in holy matrimony to Elaine M. Cobbs Jordan for forty-two years. One child was born to this union, Marcello Jordan.

Willie leaves cherished memories to his loving wife, Elaine Barnes Jordan; his loving and caring son, Marcello Jordan; loving daughter, Linda James; loving mother, Rethema Sutton; sisters, Annie Dillard of Atlanta, GA and Dorothy (Dave) Deloach of Clifton, NJ; brothers, Charles (Sherri) Jordan Jr of Macon, GA, Larry (Janis) Jordan of Hinesville, GA, Lee (Vivian) Jordan and Phil Jordan, both of Acworth, GA, Demetrius (Janelle) Pope of Kennesaw, GA; sister-in-law Gloria (Choice) Fillingame of Cuthbert, GA; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
