She departed this life on December 8, 2022 in Independence, Missouri.
Willie Alice loved to cook, volunteer in many different areas, feeding people with what she cooked, loved to dance, sing, play music, fishing, shopping finding bargains and shared her stories of knowledge.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Her parents Carrie Jones and David Dean, siblings Sammie Miller, Mary Merritt, Artie Criswell and Murtis Carter preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Mary Alice Brown-Holmes, grandson Charles Larsea Holmes, siblings RoseMary Moore, Brenda Dean, David Dean, Jr. and William Dean, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 16, 2022, 11:00am at Watkins Heritage Chapel. Interment Leavenworth National Cemetery, LVNKS. Visitation will be from 10am-11am at the chapel. Service conducted by Watkins Heritage Chapel. Condolences may be shared on our website.
