Willie Earl Rose, a vibrant soul born in the heart of Dallas, Texas, on February 11, 1970, departed this earthly realm on December 29, 2025, leaving behind a legacy woven with laughter, love, and the joy of family. He was a devoted truck driver whose journeys were as much about the roads he traveled as they were about the people he cherished.

A man of charismatic charm, Willie emanated warmth, humor, and kindness. With the ability to make others smile with his silliness, he was a comforting presence, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a hearty laugh. His energy was infectious; Willie danced with joy, laughed with abandon, and found solace in the pages of the Bible, demonstrating a faith that grounded him throughout his life.

Family meant everything to Willie. He was a proud father to his three children—Desiree Rose Jackson (Markeist), Chasity Rose Young (Larry Young), and Willie Rose, Jr. (Kareashe)—who were his greatest achievements, affectionately known as "Big Girl," "Booty," and "JR." As a loving husband to Twolley Mosley Rose, Willie exemplified devotion, ensuring the home felt warm and celebratory through every holiday, which he embraced with fervor and creativity. His seven grandchildren brought him immeasurable joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them, crafting memories that would last a lifetime.  Willie will also be missed by three sisters, Kecia Rose Jackson, Sandy Rose and Lakecia Rose and brother, Rodney Rose and stepbrother,  Leon Fuller.

Willie's hobbies reflected his zest for life. He reveled in reading the Word of God, listening to music, dancing, and traveling. A passionate Dallas Cowboy fan, he filled his time with spirited debates about football and watching baseball games. He also held a fondness for boxing and took great pride in caring for his cars, finding satisfaction in the little things that brought order and beauty to his life. His close friendship with Garron enriched his days, providing camaraderie and laughter.

But life had its somber shades as well. Willie faced the loss of beloved family members, including his parents, Roy and Helen Rose, stepmother Lena Rose, and brothers Fredrick Fuller and Keitron Fuller. Their memories lived on with him, woven into the fabric of his being, ever guiding his steps.

As we gather to celebrate the remarkable life of Willie Earl Rose, we invite those touched by his spirit to honor his memory. A viewing will take place on January 7, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a wake service at 6:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas. On January 8, 2026, friends and family will come together for his funeral service, beginning at 11:00 AM, to bid farewell and remember the man whose whistle sounded like a bird, signaling that it was time to come home.

Willie Earl Rose leaves a void that can never be filled but also a treasure trove of memories that will be cherished forever. In our hearts, he will always remain a kind, silly, and godly gentleman whose legacy of love and laughter will continue to illuminate our lives.
