Stanley, Jr.
Willie "Billy" Stanley, Jr., 72, husband of the late Francis Powell Stanley passed away, Monday, January 9, 2023.
Billy was born on July 31, 1950, in Conway, SC, son of the late Willie "Bill" Stanley, Sr. and Lena Hancock Stanley. After his retirement as a Forman of Sumter Utilities, he worked with 301 Auto Parts as a driver. Billy having grown up on the Pee Dee River had a love for fishing and boating; he occasionally enjoyed playing golf but he really enjoyed raising his goats.
Surviving are daughters, Sherry Stanley and Shannon (Mitchell) Sims; Special Friend, Faye Stanley; grandchildren, Candice Miles Crawford, Brittany Nailon, Joshua McGee, Abbygail Sauls and Madelyn Sims; three great grandchildren; sisters, Jean Lynch and Janice Rhodes; Special Son, Blake Marsh; four nieces and three nephews.
Billy was preceded in death by brothers, Johnny Stanley, Kenneth Stanley and Ralph Stanley; sister, Shirley Stanley Leonard; brothers-in-law, Randolph Lynch and Charles Rhodes.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Friday, January 13, 2023 at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton, SC. Burial to follow at Lake City Memorial Park, Lake City, SC.
The family will receive friends 1:00 – 3:00 PM, Friday, January 13, 2023 at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel.
