Willie Jack Terry, 80, of Nebo, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025, at his residence.
Willie was born in McDowell County, NC to the late Ellsworth Jesse Terry and Lilly Hamby Terry. He was a member of Garden Creek Baptist Church in Marion. Willie was a blessing to his family his entire life. He was fun loving man who loved the Lord and loved people. He was thankful for every single day and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Willie was preceded in death by four brothers, Kenneth Terry, Ellsworth Terry, Jr., Vernon Grant Terry, and Richard Terry.
Those left to cherish is memory include three sisters, Kate Terry Clough, Nancy Huskin (Paul), and Rachel McPeters; two brothers, Mack Terry and Gene Terry; sister-in-law and caregiver, Linda Terry; sister-in-law, Marie Terry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Monday, February 17, 2025, at the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at McDowell Memorial Park, at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
