Willie Walker Obituary
Willie Lee Walker, born on July 28, 1935, in Greenwood, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025. She lived a full life dedicated to her family, faith, and community.
Willie was a beloved mother to her three children: Lori Walker, Freda Walker, and Frances Jackson. Her love and care for her children were evident in everything she did.
She was also a sister to Charles Walker and Robert Cain, both of whom have preceded her in death. The memories shared with her brothers will forever remain cherished in the hearts of those who knew them.
In addition to her devotion to her family, Willie had a passion for her community. She was an active member of the Victory Centers of South Chicago Golden Girls and a devoted member of the Way to Salvation Baptist Church. These groups brought her joy and fulfillment, and she formed meaningful connections with many through her involvement.
Willie Lee Walker will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the love she shared with her family and community. Her legacy will live on in the lives she touched throughout her years.
