Willie Mary found joy in the simple pleasures. She had a passion for planting flowers, nurturing them as she did the relationships in her life. Each bloom reflected her gentle and caring spirit. Her love for soul music, especially the sounds of Johnny Taylor, filled her home and hearts around her with rhythm and warmth. She would start each day with inspiration, listening to Joel Osteen every morning, seeking wisdom and guidance that resonated with her soul. Her fondness for Westerns provided her with entertainment and a sense of adventure, which complemented her loving nature.
Friends and family will gather to celebrate her life and honor her memory. A viewing is scheduled for December 21, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. This will be followed by a funeral service on December 22, 2025, at :00 PM, also at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas.
Willie Mary Yancy leaves behind a legacy of love and care that will not soon be forgotten. She touched the lives of many with her gentle spirit and remains in the hearts of all who knew her.
