Willis Dale Baird, 84, of Smiths Grove passed peacefully on November 12, 2025, in Cumming, GA.
The Warren County native was a son of the late Charlie and Jewell Hatcher Baird and husband of the late Margaret Elizabeth Elkins Baird. He is preceded in death by his twin brother Harvey Hale Baird and grandson Matthew Dale Baird. Willis was a Plant President for the Colonial Baking Company. His 40-year career took him and his family to 8 different states and numerous cities, where he was a well-respected businessman and leader in those communities.
Survivors include his daughter Sharon Cramer and her husband Roger of Cumming, GA; and son William (Bill) Baird of Jacksonville, FL; 4 grandchildren, Mackenzie Baird Mayhall (Jonathan), Wes Cramer (Dana), Spencer Cramer (Jenna) and Hannah Cramer Long (Nick); 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 11 am Monday November 17 at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove Chapel, with burial in Smiths Grove Cemetery. Visitation 4-7 pm Sunday and 9-11am Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army – 400 W Main Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101.
