Garrett - Willis C. Rowe, 62 of Garrett, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026 at his Garrett home.

He was born on March 13, 1963 in Newport News, Virginia. He was a 1981 graduate of Garrett High School.

Willis worked as a plumber for Henning's Heating and Plumbing in LaOtto for several years, retiring in 2006. He was a member of the Garrett Eagles, the Garrett VFW Auxiliary and the Sons of the American Legion.

He enjoyed hunting, playing golf and hanging out with his friends.

Survivors include:

Son and daughter-in-law, Logan Ryan and Kylia Rowe of Garrett.

Son and daughter-in-law, Lincoln Joel and Alex Rowe of Garrett.

Daughter and son-in-law, Hunter and Jorden Klingenberger of Fort Wayne.

Seven grandchildren.

Brother, Jeff Rowe of Garrett.

Sister, Tina Custer of Garrett.

Sister, Reene Rowe of Garrett.

Brother and sister-in-law, Todd and Carla Rowe of Kendallville.

Many nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Willis was preceded in death by his parents; step daughter, Nakea Burger and an infant grandchild.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made in memory of Willis to the Garrett Eagles, 220 South Randolph Street, Garrett, Indiana 46738 and the Garrett American Legion, 515 West Fifth Avenue, Garrett, Indiana 46738.
