Princess Willow Jade Cooper, 2, of Albemarle, saw the face of Jesus Tuesday, December 24, 2024 in the arms of Kesha and Nick Fisher, who raised her and who loved her more than words can say.
Willow was born April 3, 2022 in North Carolina to Kelsey Cooper, alongside her identical twin sister, Iris Cooper, whom she loved.
Although her time here was short, Willow's vibrant, infectious smile captivated the hearts of everyone she met. Her laugh contagious, her strength motivating.
Willow loved Encanto, Moana, Mickey Mouse, wind chimes, music, lights, spin toys and swimming. Willow was a strong beautiful little girl that will be missed deeply. Her fight is over, her battle is won. Not a day will go by where she isn't missed; her smell, her touch, and her sounds. We love you always and forever my sweet sunshine girl.
Willow's memory will live on in the hearts of Bentley, Trey, Jasmine, Kelsey, Iris , Cara, Destiny, Austin, Julian, Selecia, Tealynn, Donnie, Katie, Donovan, Brandy, her mimi Debbie and most of all her papa Frank, and many others.
A Memorial service to honor Willow will be held at 12pm on January 18, 2025 at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Don Burleyson. A Celebration of Life service will follow at Lakeview Baptist Church, 32496 Pennington Road., Albemarle, NC.
We would like to thank her team of doctors; Dr. Kelly, Dr. Barnum, Dr. Coats, Dr. Sartor, Dr.Short, Dr. Schellhase, Dr. Jose, everyone at Moore Therapy, and a special thanks to her Hands of Hope hospice team who stayed by her side and made Willow's meeting with Jesus as beautiful and pain free as it could be.
