Wilma Felderman

Wilma Felderman, 84, passed away suddenly on June, 29, 2023 at her home in Cranford, NJ. Born in 1938, to Herman and Ethel Leventhal in Jersey City, she moved to Brooklyn where she met her late husband Burt. Wilma was known as a fighter, never backing down and smiling in the face of any challenge. She beat cancer twice among many other medical issues, but never let that stop her from busting a move on the dance floor. Wilma knew how to have a good time and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved Broadway shows, traveling around NYC, and later in life, a few glasses of sangria and a good game of mahjong with friends. She was a friend to many at Cranford Senior Housing, where she was an active member of her community and loved performing at her many spring concerts.
Wilma is survived by her two children Howard Felderman (Alison) and Eydie McDonnell (Robert) as well as her three grandchildren Sean (Alexis), Kevin, and Bailey.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 9th from 9am to 10am with the funeral service beginning at 10am at Dooley Colonial Home, 556 Westfield Ave. Westfield NJ 07090. The interment will take place following the funeral service at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, NJ.
