Wilma Haight Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 31, 2025.
Wilma Haight, our beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, partner, friend, and niece, lost her battle to liver cancer on October 24, 2025. Wilma passed into God's loving embrace at 32.

Wilma loved to fish. Growing up, she would spend summers at Williams Lake and Westport fishing. She would get seasick, but she didn't let it stop her from fishing. She fished all of her life.

Wilma was a beautiful, loving, caring, and energetic woman. Wilma was always fun to be around. She was funny with a warm sense of humor. Wilma will be remembered for her sense of adventure and reckless abandonment.

Wilma struggled with addiction, but she was determined to overcome it. She wanted to be the mother she knew she could be to her children. She was in treatment when she got her diagnosis. Even with the horrible news, she stayed on her treatment.

Wilma leaves behind her children, Nyamal Gach and Eli Tolbert; mother, Debbie Kilgore; stepmother, Jill Darby; father, David Haight; stepmother, Christina Haight; partner of 8 years, Ryan Smith; sisters, Jackalyn Kilgore, Rachel Haight, and Lora Haight; nieces, Sapphira Haight, Nikaya White-Darby; nephews, Zakariess and Zeadon Salamu; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Please share your memories of Wilma on her tribute wall.
