Wilma Euleta Harvey

Wilma Euleta (Evans) Harvey of Redding, California, passed away on Nov 11, 2025 at the age of 89 years.

Wilma was born in 1935 to Jasper and Yula Evans in Clifty, Arkansas. Wilma grew up in Arkansas, Missouri, and California, graduating high school in Arcata, California in 1954. In 1959, Wilma married Van Harvey and enjoyed 54 years of marriage until Vans passing in 2013. Their life together took them to Eureka, Chico, Klamath Falls and Redding. Wilma was proud of her fifteen years in the grocery business and thirty years as a business owner of H&H Maytag Home Appliance Center in Redding. Wilma led by example and instilled a legendary work ethic in those around her. Wilma and Van shared many hiking and camping adventures, especially agate hunting at Big Lagoon near Trinidad and family camping trips to Hat Creek. Wilma loved family gatherings, scrapbooking, collecting glassware and porcelain dolls, and could spend an entire afternoon playing Yahtzee (and winning).

Wilma is survived by daughter and son-in-law Vanessa and Rick Bowser of Redding, daughter Colleen Arrison of Red Bluff, sister Pauline Erickson of Palo Cedro, grandkids Tony (Autumn) Bowser and Jennifer (Brent) Lemler, and great grandkids John, Lexi, Haylee, Sawyer, Spencer, Harvey and Georgia, and three generations of nieces and nephews. Wilma was predeceased by husband Van Harvey, son-in-law Steve Arrison, brothers Cleve, Lou, Gene, Walter and Bill Evans, and sisters Marjorie Scott and Elma Speir.
