Mrs. Wilma Gail Cagle Haymore, age 77 of Mount Airy, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Lotus Village Center for Nursing and Rehab in Sparta. Mrs. Haymore was born in Carroll County, Virginia on October 10, 1947 ,to the late Luther and Claudia Easter Cagle. Gail was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Surviving are her sons and daughter-in-law, Timothy Haymore and Brenda, Keith Haymore; three grandchildren, Yvonne Byrd and Lee, Tabitha Haymore and Brian Weis, Timothy Lee Haymore; six great-grandchildren, Bryce Haymore-Weis, Natalie Gentry and Aaron Taylor, Josh Byrd and Samantha Jamusch, Samuel Byrd, Jessica Dowell and Matthew, Alex Gwyn and his fiancé Brandi; seven great great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Haymore was preceded in the death by her husband, Ronald Lee Haymore; great-grandson and his fiancée, Ryan Gwyn and Taylor Chipman; two sisters, Peggy Cagle Vernon, Rebecca Willodean Cagle Eaton; and brother, Pete Revis Cagle. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with Reverend Dennis Barnett officiating. Interment will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 18, 2025, at Moody Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
