WILMA RUTH GILBERT HUFF, age 91, of Knoxville, TN, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026, at her home. She was the daughter of the late Edward Oscar Gilbert and Nellie (Pike) Gilbert and was born May 11, 1934, in Newport, TN and was a lifelong resident of Jefferson County. She was a loving mother and devoted homemaker who was a soldier for Jesus and attended Newport Church of God. She is survived by her sons, Edward Eugene Huff and his children, Israel Huff and Nathan (Ashley) Huff and Brian (Nancy) Huff and their children, Nick Huff, Kassie Hall, and Sabrina Huff and her children, Crockett and Jake Henderson and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Dandridge Chapel with a service to follow at 6:00pm with Reverend Brian Huff and Reverend Nick Huff officiating. Graveside and committal service will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 11:00am at Dunn Cemetery in the Carson Springs Community of Newport.
