Obituary for Wilma Cruce Kidd
March 14, 1962 – July 8, 2025
Wilma Cruce Kidd, a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025.
Born to the late Tony and Claudette Cruce, Wilma lived a life rooted in care, creativity, and connection. She was known for her generous spirit and a heart that found joy in simple, meaningful moments.
Wilma is survived by her beloved sons, Dalton Kidd and Dillon Kidd; her devoted sister Hilda Ledford, brother-in-law Tracy Ledford, Cousin- Donnie Bryson; her cherished nieces Selena Reid, Savannah Ledford and nephew in law Teddy Reid ; and her treasured great-niece, Alanna Reid, who brought light and laughter to Wilma's final days.
Wilma had a gift for preserving not only fruit but memories - spending her last days canning and sharing her homemade jams and jellies with those she loved.
Above all, Wilma's greatest joy was watching Alanna grow and thrive - a bond that was truly special.
A memorial will be held at Candler United Methodist Church at 4:00 on Saturday July 19th. The family will be accepting visitors beforehand from 2 to 4.
The family is asking for donations to her go fund me to help her boys with the transition. https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-for-wilma-kidd-and-her-two-boys?attribution_id=sl:c5c6206d-65bd-4cc2-9b80-fd416125659a&lang=en_US&ts=1752069646&utm_campaign=man_sharesheet_dash&utm_content=amp13_c-amp14_t2-amp15_t3&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=native_options
