Wilma Jo (Howard) Kite, age 77, of Lott, passed away Friday, May 30, 2025 at her home. Celebration of Life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12th at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco.
Wilma was born October 2, 1947 to Clarence A. Howard Sr. and Marjorie Beevers in Waco, Texas. She graduated high school, in 1966, from L.D. Bell in Hurst, Texas. In 1978, she began studying at Braniff Education Systems, in Dallas, where she learned all about the travel industry. After training, she began working for Braniff for the next 13 years. She left there and worked for Custom Cruise and Travel, where she became a supervisor furthering her career in the travel industry. Wilma loved working in the travel industry all those years because it allowed her to travel the world with her family. After leaving the Dallas/Ft Worth area in the late 90's, she moved to Lott, to be closer to her parents. In 2003, Wilma began working for Dell Computers in McGregor, where she won multiple awards for sales. She left Dell in 2006 and held various jobs before retiring.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Howard of Lott; and her father, Clarence A. Howard Sr. also of Lott.
Wilma is survived by her sons, Jason Kite and wife Kilee of Lott; Ronnie S. Kite and wife Luisa Baptiste of Georgia; grandchildren, Maryann, Hannah, Ryan, Seth, Alexis, Dalton and Devyn; brother, Clarence Howard Jr.; nephew, Cody Howard of Ft. Worth.
