Wilma E. Logan, age 97, passed away on December 26, 2022 at Oregon Living and Rehab Center. She was born on October 25, 1925 in Centralia, IL the daughter of Walter and Cleona (Boatright) Hazlip. She worked as a cook at various area restaurants until she met and married the love of her life, Ira Logan on July 28, 1973 at the Christian Church in Polo, Illinois. Then she focused on working on the family farm. She was someone who always needed to stay busy and would take time to do things in her expansive garden, work in her upholstery shop she set up in the basement and always kept a clean house. She was an avid quilter and great cook and even made wedding cakes for many couples. But, more than anything, Wilma loved her family and always made sure to take time for them. She was someone you could count on to love you and be there for you no matter what. She is predeceased by her husband, parents, her children Trice Clyde Riley, Jr., Richard Riley, Phyllis Irvin, Gary Riley, and Sam Logan; brothers Kenneth Hazlip, Eugene Hazlip, Charles Hazlip, Clifford Hazlip; sisters Joyce Clint, and Patricia Wikoff and granddaughter Kristy. She is survived by her brothers , Leland Hazlip, and Glenn Hazlip; sister Sue Buisker; grandchildren Corey, Derrick, Robin, Tana, Tim, Jamie, Ricky, Karyn, Robert, Brian, Billy, Cora, Tye, Shannon, Darrel, Robbie; 16+ great grandchildren, 28+ great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, January 2, 2022 at Farrell Holland Gale Funeral Home in Oregon with Pastor Michael Hoffman of Oregon Church of God Officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM prior to the service. Memorials are established in her name.
